Dehong Yu

Dehong Yu has had 20 years of experience and has conducted a broad range of business ventures in Australia and China, with an extensive network of contacts in both the government and private sector. He has headed private companies successfully in a range of consulting, international trade, finance and infrastructure development enterprises. In addition, he has had three years of experience in a public company.

Dehong brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business of GWM Resources NL. His skills will aid in taking advantage of renewed interest by major Chinese mining companies in the rare earth minerals currently underdeveloped in exploration in Australia and is responsible for developing the outlook, corresponding investment theses, and asset allocation.

De Hong’s efforts continue to be focused on gaining new resources and exploring existing potential that will create a solid and successful enterprise for many years to come.

Robert Milbourne

Mr. Milbourne is an international corporate transactional attorney with more than 15 years' experience in energy, finance and infrastructure, with a strong focus on mining and resources. He has worked extensively internationally, particularly in Asia and South America.

His practice includes advising clients on investments throughout the world, including joint ventures, incorporations, sales and off-take transactions, M&A, project financing, and corporate governance. Mr. Milbourne has worked on many landmark mining transactions in Australia, Mozambique, PNG and China, and regularly advises clients on mining and resources industry transactions. Mr. Milbourne also has experience advising clients with respect to political risk insurance and risk mitigation for investments in emerging markets. Mr. Milbourne is a registered foreign lawyer.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Milbourne spent several years as a Partner at an international law firm. Earlier in his career he spent seven years with the global mining firm Vale in its Brazilian headquarters, and then in Australia as regional general counsel.

Aleena Burdett

Aleena Burdett is the Director of Trading and Sales for DJ Minerals.

With 15 years transnational experience across various industries, Ms Burdett leads a team focussed on providing successful outcomes for all of DJ Minerals’ clients in an efficient and professional manner. Skilled with extensive corporate knowledge and possessing exceptional communication skills, Ms Burdett has effectively project led a broad range of agreements from start to end with precision and confidence.

Ms Burdett has also brought with her to DJ Minerals a wide-range of experience across the economic and financial sectors, and a breadth of knowledge in competition law and managing international criminal investigations. She possesses the legal knowledge, skill-set and resources to source and acquire information, assess its merits and be alert to the relevant legal requirements and corporate governance for all parties involved.

John Margerison

John Margerison, an entrepreneur and strategy expert, brings 20 years of experience as a consultant and company director in key sectors: Capital Markets, Finance, Trade, Health, Retail, Infrastructure, Banking, Legal, Funds Management, Property, and Information Technology.

Mr Margerison’s insight, clarity and understanding of strategy in business across these industries has led to his demand as an advisor in assisting companies achieve traction and sustainability, merger/acquisition/listing goals and strategic outcomes. These companies range from top tier firms to small start-up companies.

Following the launch in 2004 of his own private secured short term lending company, DJ Capital, Mr Margerison led the purchase of a public lending financial services company in 2009. Following acquisition, market share and profitability of the purchased entity dramatically increased to the point that it was acquired 18 months later by an AMEX-listed company for a market capitalization 15 times the purchase price. Whilst divesting of the public company, Mr Margerison still retains interests in DJ Capital which has been in operation for over 10 years and is now a market leader in its niche field.

Living in Australia, Mr Margerison holds a Bachelor of Commerce and further study in Financial Services, Foreign Exchange, and Mortgage Lending. He currently holds a number of Board positions for companies operating in the areas of Infrastructure Development, Property Development, Algorithmic Trading, Health, and Financial Management.
